K24 Header Design
See my design process as I learned the sweep tool to develop my own concept for equal length headers that would fit a K24 head, oriented to fit in a RWD car.

The Base
I started building the base for the headers by using a measurement/cad drawing for the K24 exhaust manifold flange as an underlay. I sketched on top of it according to the specified dimensions, and used the center of each exhaust port as the starting points of my sweeps.
Muffler Flange
Then, to designate the end of the sweeps/headers, I created the flange which would attach the headers to the catalytic converter.

3D Sketch

After that, I began creating the 3D sketches that would define the length and path of the runners and collector. To make sure they were all equal length, each of the sketch paths were designed to be around 1585mm~ in length, with no more than 1% length difference between each runner.

Sweep
To finalize the model, I proceeded with sweeps along each 3D sketch, shelled out the runners, and mirrored the model to get it into the proper orientation (although a dual K24, V8 style setup would be pretty cool, no?).
FINAL PRODUCT

Here is the final concept rendered in KeyShot, and made of Titanium. In the future, I plan to do a SolidWorks fluid simulation to study how efficient my design is and see how I can make improvements on its form.
