Cybertruck Redesign
See my design process as I present my redesign and re-innovation ideas for the design of the Tesla Cybertruck, improving my design rendering skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Vizcom.

MOODBOARD/ IDEATION
To begin ideating what the form could look like, I created a mood board that would inspire each of my ideas thereafter. The vibe I was trying to achieve was a neo-noir, cyberpunk, hard-metal piece of technology, not much unalike its currently branding. And when it came to form, like all projects, it all begins with sketching. For this project, I was instructed to "push the boundaries" with my brainstorming, so I obliged, and was generous putting pen to paper. Here were some of my initial ideas.

FINDING A FORM
Then, I was instructed to narrow down my ideas to three directions: a concept that is safe, and not too far from the original design, one that is a step-up, with noticeable innovation, but not too risqué, and one that is quite avant-garde, and pushes the boundary far ahead in terms of form, technology, and innovation. Here were my narrowed directions, and some renders of them, done with pen and paper, Photoshop, and Vizcom.
FINALIZING THE DESIGN + LOGISTICS

After narrowing my design down to three directions, what was left was to select a final direction to go with and detail with a technical package, and performance specs. The consensus amongst my cohort, and my personal favorite design, was my "evolution" iteration, so I moved forward with that design-- I sketched and re-sketched it to find a form that I truly liked, before moving into Photoshop, Illustrator, and Vizcom to render my vision, and create a technical package with feature specifications to truly realize my design concept.

PROCESS SYNOPSIS
At the end of the project, I created a streamlined process document showing each of the effective steps I took to design my concept, from start to finish.
